My husband and I are British nationals, using the US facilities whilst assigned to a NATO role in Naples, Italy. We are not accustomed to the US way and were apprehensive about giving birth in such a different environment. During a 28-hour labour with very little progression and difficulties, Sarah remained professional yet so welcoming, friendly, and approachable. She stood out with an outstanding knowledge of every aspect of the Labour, providing advice so calmly and ensuring we understood everything. Her character and demeanor made us feel so comfortable and reassured. There was absolutely no apprehension or worry knowing that Sarah was there to support us. She is a real credit to the Service and, from a national point of view, a fantastic representative of the United States amongst international counterparts.
