After the delivery of my son, I returned to the 5th floor and Sarah was the nurse charged with admitting me to the postpartum department. Sarah was amazing - I was emotionally and physically drained and my son was in NICU. Sarah could not have been any kinder - she had everything possible set up for me, including toiletries and a cot (already made) for my husband to sleep on. Her level of care and compassion was above and beyond any expectations I could have ever imagined. Although all of the nurses that cared for me during my stay at Bridgeport Hospital were excellent - Sarah's nursing care was truly exceptional and she deserves special recognition!
