Sarah is intelligent, compassionate, and an overall hard worker. I have seen her firsthand go above and beyond to advocate for her patients as well as her coworkers. She truly cares about her patients and their outcomes. Working with her over the past 10 years has made me a better nurse. To try and define her by one story would be impossible I have seen her work extra hours to help coworkers who couldn't finish their shift, or just when the department was overflowing and she knew how strained we would all be, even with adequate staff. I have also witnessed her going above and beyond to communicate with providers to ensure patients were getting the care they deserve. She has been in different leadership roles throughout her career with SCHC and has always remained someone who is easy to approach when you have a problem, and ensured she did everything within her power to give you a solution. As a new nurse, she had a large part in helping to mold me into the nurse I am today, she has shared countless experiences and knowledge so that I can assist in making life-saving decisions for my own patients. I will forever be thankful to have gotten to work and learn alongside her!
