I nominated Sarah for the DAISY Award because I felt a “thank you” was simply not enough to express my gratitude for her. During my grandma’s stay in the hospital, Sarah was her nurse more times than not. Her kindness, care, and compassion for my grandma were truly a comfort and blessing during this scary and difficult time. Her service extended far beyond my grandma because she always made time to talk with us and listen to our care and concerns. I know that I could not have left my grandma’s side without knowing she was taken care of. I will be forever grateful for Sarah’s selfless service to us!
