I met Sarah on my way to the hospital to visit my husband. He had been admitted for kidney failure but also had excruciating back pain. By coincidence, I overheard Sarah mention she was from Neurosurgery and I approached her regarding my husband’s pain. She was a ROCK STAR after that! She managed to get my husband’s issues addressed while he was inpatient. This saved us a 6 hour round trip from NC to see the neurosurgeon. She had x-rays done, TENS unit provided, and an acupuncture consult placed within two days. Could not have been more helpful and pleasant to work with. For Sarah to be on my husband’s case and get it addressed so quickly was above and beyond. We are new to the VA (from Cincinnati, OH) and I was concerned about getting the same excellent service we were used to in Ohio. My fears have been set aside now.
