My husband was a patient and Sarah was his nurse. During a dressing change he started to bleed from a cardiac cath site. Sarah and Linda held direct pressure on his neck for over 10 hours until he was transferred to ICU. I have worked in healthcare for 36 years and I thought this kind of compassionate care had gone by the way side and I am happy to see it hasn't.
