Sarah was the first nurse I was assigned after my surgery. Although I was in pain, crying, and anxious and all around miserable, she was professional and encouraging as she talked me off the ledge.
Sarah was super quick to order pain medication from the doctor. She was always thinking of ways to make me more comfortable, and I was not afraid to ask questions about me. Her skill set is Nursing. She knows what it takes to care for patients, but also for their mental health as well.
Her calmness brought great healing to my anxious world. At the end of my two-week stay, she was also the nurse who discharged me. She made sure I left with understanding.
