Over seven years ago, about 10:00 a.m. my son was born. We thought he was healthy. The night post-partum nurse, Sarah Heuchan, noticed something was going on with my son's breathing at around 4 a.m., and her suspicions were right. My son ended up being flown to Tucson less than 24 hours after birth. Thanks to Sarah, my son didn't go home with us. He would not have made it, and he is here with us today. She saved my son's life.
