My mom had emergency brain surgery. Sarah was her nurse for a few days following her surgery. I wanted to recognize Sarah because she was one of the most compassionate and caring nurses that I have ever come across. Her attentiveness and care towards my mom was heartfelt. As a family, we were incredibly upset and concerned about my mother’s condition. Sarah provided in-depth details about my mom’s care and offered her compassion to us as well. She even expressed how, even after her shift ended, she thought about my mom and wondered how she was doing. That is true love and care. Throughout my mom’s recovery process, she did end up having different nurses. But Sarah stuck out to us, and we will always remember and be so very thankful for her. Every time I went to visit my mom, I knew she was in the best hands. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, SARAH, for not only caring for my mom like you would any of your family but for being there for my family when we were an emotional wreck. Any patient who comes in contact with Sarah will be forever grateful!
