My dad was at Mercy for a cath procedure when Sarah took care of him. We could tell instantly that she had "angel wings" hidden under those scrubs of hers. Her calm demeanor, tranquil voice, and caring heart were evident each time she walked into my dad's room. I don't think Sarah sat down once that day, those little feet of hers put on thousands of steps as she met her patient's needs. But never once did she ever leave Dad's room without explaining things at our level and making sure our questions were answered. She made us laugh with her quick wit and made us feel loved!
