Sarah was so patient and kind to my mother. She nicknamed my grandmother "Meemaw" and loved on her as I do. She worked tirelessly to ease Grams' agitation. She communicated constantly with the doctor. Sarah saw how feisty Grams was and how she wanted to fight to live, so she pushed for CPAP test and came and encouraged my Grams constantly. She was constantly coming up with ideas to ease her. She even offered to take my Grams home with her! I can't imagine anyone who works harder to keep both a patient and her family positive and optimistic more than she did. Sarah had my Grams eating a feast of popsicles and Jell-O while she teased her about her deep voice from the intubation. I am forever thankful.
