Sarah Lester, RN

Sarah was the nurse for a patient who had been agitated and confused for weeks. The patient was yelling out and was having a difficult time calming down. The patient's family had been talking about the patient's favorite songs earlier in the day and Sarah sat with the patient and played Otis Redding songs while she and the patient sang together. This extra care and special touch helped this patient feel more settled and at peace.
