Sarah Madden, BSN, RN

Sarah is a nurse reporting to me in the Cardiology and CT Surgery clinics. She is perpetually positive, engaged, and kind. She is often the first to volunteer to care for clinic admissions, teach support staff, and help with tasks that are not typically completed by RNs. She has extensive experience with med-surg and critical care patients, which is an enormous asset to the patients she cares for in the ambulatory setting, who were often recently admitted to med-surg, PCU, and critical care. She maintains a mindset focused on process and quality improvement at all times and updates the team often with new skills and information she has learned. Her telephone triage skills and triage notes are excellent. She is reliable, consistent, supportive of her team, and cares deeply about the success of the division and our patients. Sarah is an exceptional nurse and an absolute gem of a human being, and I am thankful to have her caring for our patients and staff every day.
