Sarah Manges, RN

Sarah took care of a young patient with a chief complaint and clinical presentation that is quite rare, but also quite serious. She closely monitored his symptoms and reassessed for changes in his condition and communicated this very quickly to the providers, who were then able to respond and treat appropriately. She was calm and kept the family informed on the plans for continued management. Sarah's calm and compassionate manner, paired with her excellent nursing judgement, aided in saving this young man's life.
