Her nominator nominated Sarah in recognition of her unwavering support, dedication, and advocacy for her students. She stepped into her role halfway through this student's program and quickly became a pillar of support, building strong connections and guiding students with wisdom and compassion. During a challenging time when an injury threatened a student’s ability to complete her final clinical practicum, Sarah responded with urgency, kindness, and unwavering advocacy, securing the extension she needed to graduate. Her enthusiasm for teaching, respect for students, and calm, solution-focused approach exemplify what it means to be a true nursing educator and mentor.
