Sarah Osoria-Ruiz, BSN, RN
Sarah is an excellent role model. She is always polite, professional, and caring. She is also an organized and efficient charge nurse. A few weeks ago, I had to leave the unit for my patient's stroke alert, and Sarah watched my patients while I attended to an emergent situation.
Sarah demonstrates excellent clinical judgment and provides appropriate advice and direction to her staff. She is committed to continuing education and recently earned her SCRN certification.
A patient was placed in a semi-private room. Ideally, a low-stimulating environment would help promote healing with this patient due to subarachnoid hemorrhage/needing blood pressure to stay low. Sarah went above and beyond to ensure that the patient was in a private room before she left that day.
