Paige is an excellent nurse. She is caring, nurturing, dependable, dots her I’s and crosses her T’s, and leads by example. Paige has helped to improve the quality measures in Veteran’s heath as well as her peers and colleagues via whole health principles. Paige believes “prevention is better than cure.”

Paige started in Charlotte Health Care Center approximately two years ago. She came to us after several years of service at Atrium Health. She is a true asset and is a pleasure to work with her. Paige is timely in her performance. Paige has great rapport with Veterans and walks an extra mile to make sure their needs are met to their customer satisfaction. Paige exemplifies all the principles of I-CARE. At the same time, she is also humorous and fun to be around. She has trained several other nurses and is a part of one of the top-performing teams. While you may have several excellent nurses to choose from, I must say Paige’s contagious smile and mannerism cannot go unrecognized. She is a caring daughter to her father, a loving mom, and an excellent wife. Her true love is her nursing career where she outshines and vibrates radiance to others truly deserving of the prestigious The DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses in memory of J. Patrick Barnes.

To give a small specific example- once I called one of my Veterans and heard her voice; she had helped that Veteran to set up the phone voice message. She always does what is right for the person in front of her. Paige is also an example of “Be the Change” you want to see!
