Sarah Patterson should receive the award for her clinical skills, compassionate care, exemplary service, and for her continued commitment to excellence. If anyone deserves this award it is definitely her! She is so incredibly kind, compassionate, and truly cares about her patients feelings. I have been in this hospital many times along with other large, well known hospitals, for both myself and family members. I have never had a nurse as wonderful as she is.
She was always checking on me to ensure I was as comfortable as possible, made sure I had everything I may need, she always was exactly on time with my medication, and she went way beyond her duties as a nurse to make sure my stay was as pleasant as possible. She was always smiling and even made sure she got me to crack a smile when I was in horrible pain & suffering.
I came in horribly sick and required a lot of help; she was constantly there whenever I needed her for whatever I needed. I feel truly blessed she was my nurse. She was a breath of fresh air during my darkest hours.
