I was traveling to UPH Fort Dodge to help get phone lines up when they were down and roll over to side phones when an application was down, so there was no loss of communication.

While sitting in the communication center, I went into a medical emergency. Sara was the first face that was there for the code team.

Sara was right there beside me through it all; she had called my husband to let him know what had occurred. She had reassured me that she talked with my husband, and that they would figure out what happened. She told him everything was fine; they were getting me restabled and would probably keep me for the night.

Sara kept him updated as best as she could and kept him calm, for being two hours away from Fort Dodge. With every test that was done, she called him to let him know the results, something that you do not see every day.

Sara is my family's guardian angel; without her kindness in reaching out to my husband and also allowing me to talk to her when I was somewhat stable, it was a reassurance that God really was making sure that Sara was watching out for my family and me that day.

Sara's care doesn't matter if she knows you; it's because she shows compassion and empathy like no other. You never know when something like this will happen, but that day, Sara was there for me, watching over me to make sure that I get the care that our UPH teams give each and every day!

 Sara is the reason why I am still here today.
