Sarah went above and beyond caring holistically for a surgical patient who did not have a home. Her excellent communication with multi-disciplinaries allowed the patient to have a safe, warm shelter to stay the night in. It took hours of figuring out the solution, but she did not give in or allow the patient to get away with saying he had a place to stay even when he did not. Her persistence and patience were impressive. Above and beyond for care for certain. Sarah even called multiple pharmacies around the area finding out the price for the patient.
