My husband was a patient here for 10 days. One of his problems was fluid retention. One night, despite his vitals all being good, he felt that he couldn't breathe, that he was suffocating. He was really frightened. This nurse was calm and efficient throughout. She assessed the situation, messaged the doctor, called respiratory, and followed all the doctor’s instructions efficiently. Equally important, she talked to us to explain what was happening physically and emotionally. She stressed that she had seen this many times before. All of that served to get us through the night as the medication took effect. Obviously, her overall care of my husband was excellent as well.
