Sarah Shackles, RN
Sarah went above and beyond to help my wife in multiple ways. She helped advocate for her to walk more and even went as far as to make time to walk around the ward with her and make sure she was safe. She allowed my wife to stretch her legs and get out of bed during her 3-week hospital stay.
Sarah also helped to lift my wife’s spirit by taking her outside to get some fresh air and see the sun, which made a noticeable difference in her attitude. She even came by to visit and see how my wife was doing, even when she wasn’t her nurse, bringing some Valentine's candies and a smile.
Sarah showed an amazing ability to connect on a personal level and helped give us hope during this difficult time.
