My mother is 84 years old and has been in your hospital for over 3 weeks. She has dementia and does not remember to use the call bell, turn on the tv, etc. Sarah Sheeder came on duty and from the start had a connection with my mom. She checked on her often, was very gentle, and made sure my mom understood what she was doing. She made sure Mom was comfortable. There were times my mom was not assigned to Sarah, but when mom’s assigned nurse was busy with another patient, Sarah stopped eating her lunch and came to help my mom. Her dressing needed changing and Sarah took care of it immediately. She talked with mom, reassured her, and ensured she had her pain medications appropriately. She is very compassionate, loving, and caring, and genuinely cares for her patients. We truly love her and are very appreciative to have had her take care of our mom. She went beyond her call of duty with true love and compassion!
