Sarah Sittinger encompasses compassion, kindness, dedication and respect with every patient and family member encounter.

Sarah never has a moment when she doesn't put the needs of the patient, family or organization first. It just comes natural for her. I hear from patients all the time how "Sarah is an angel", "she has made me feel like I really matter to her", "I trust her", "Sarah has been so kind to me", "she is truly a blessing to the organization, "no better nurse".

She is an amazing individual that always has a smile on her face and comes to work to make a difference in her patients and families lives. No matter how busy, she always will help patients, families, peers, other departments without question. Sarah is truly on the most exceptional nurses I have met.

There was one patient, in particular - I observed Sarah assisting an elderly man who wasn't eating too well and had difficulty hearing while eating. She was gentle, patient and nurturing.
