I recently lost my husband, but during his last days, he was in the MICU. Sarah was his nurse for some of these days. He was unconscious during this time there but Sarah talked to him and treated him as if he were completely aware of everything. She was very attentive and provided him with every comfort that she could provide. She not only took care of him but also me. She was supportive during this very difficult time and took the time to comfort me as well as cry with me. She went above and beyond to even have her schedule changed to be there for us. Sarah is the epitome of what a nurse should be. It's easy to see that Sarah loves what she does and is awesome at it. We had several nurses during his 9-day stay and Sarah truly stood out. Thank you.
