My husband started hospice care after nearly three years of fighting stage 4 colorectal cancer. Sarah was assigned as his primary nurse, and after our first meeting with her, we knew we were in good hands. Sarah quickly became our friend as well as our most trusted caregiver during my husband’s final weeks. She would always respond immediately to my anxious texts to help me troubleshoot what he needed to be as comfortable as possible. Her compassion, good humor, and professionalism made a difficult time much easier. I am grateful and blessed that she helped me help my husband transition.
