Sarah Sproule, Registered Nurse

Sarah recently worked tirelessly over many weeks to arrange the repatriation of a patient back to his home in Lithuania. She went above and beyond her duties as a CNC, going to great lengths to get this patient home to his family. This included a great deal of planning with the extensive members of the patients' treating team, countless discussions with insurance companies, airlines, in addition to direct discussions with the Lithuanian Embassy and the THS executive committee. In a repatriation that was highly publicised in the news, on behalf of the trauma service, we believe Sarah was truly one of the heroes who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to facilitate this patient's return home.
