Sarah Talbott is able to touch patients' lives all the time. Her compassion makes a difference every shift. Today with the cold and rainy weather, we had many indigent patients in the ED. She took care of one of them who had not been cared for or touched in a long time. He was wet, soiled clothes, freezing. Sarah quietly cleaned him up, got some clothes, food, and put a smile on his face. I was happy to see how our young RNs are being the best patient advocates. She started here as a Nurse Extern and now is one of our best.
