Sarah Tucker was the first nurse we encountered when my grandpa was transferred to Flowers Hospital and she was incredibly kind, helpful, and knowledgeable from the very beginning. We had stayed at Flowers Hospital for a total of nine days, and each time, Sarah was our nurse and was an absolute pleasure. She demonstrated so much care, compassion, and respect when taking care of my grandpa. Unfortunately, my grandpa was placed on hospice, and our family was informed he would pass. During these incredibly dark moments, Sarah would sacrifice her time to sit, talk, and comfort us in the midst of our pain. She gave us a few laughs, too! While every nurse was very kind and friendly, which was an amazing experience, Sarah really stood out and is one of the greatest nurses I have met… and I have worked in several physicians’ practices! I have been in hospitals with many family members due to many circumstances, but I have never encountered a nurse that has been more sympathetic, hospitable, caring, respectful, and much more. She demonstrates her love for nursing by taking care of patients as if they were her own family. I will never forget her kindness in one of the darkest times I have experienced.
