My special needs cousin fractured his arm while visiting Pittsburgh for the weekend. He is extremely terrified of anything medical-related, especially hospitals. We could barely get him into the emergency room, let alone have anything done to assess his fracture.

Sarah went above and beyond to make a connection with him. She took the time to talk to him and get him to trust her.

She listened to his concerns and talked to him in a way he understood. She spent so much of her precious time with him to try and make him feel comfortable. Sarah exceeded her job duties to make a difficult situation as smooth as possible.

Her patience and compassion were beyond what we could have asked for during this time. She was an advocate for his needs and my family's needs as the situation was extraordinary. We could not have gotten through the night without Sarah and all she did!
