There are lots of good nurses in this world. But then there are some that go above and beyond and Sarah Willer is one of them. The past year has been the hardest year in my life. Sarah has made some of the worst days of my life survivable and has taught me so much that now affects my day to day life. Sarah has taught me some coping tricks that have helped get me to where I am today. She has inspired me to keep fighting even on days where I want to throw in the towel and give up. On days where it seems like everything is going in a horrifying direction with no hope Sarah always has the right words to say that help me keep calm and fight on!

Sarah demonstrates extraordinary nursing skills in an infinite number of ways. One example is how she really takes the time to get completely filled in on the patients situation. She gets to know her patients and their conditions very well and this allows her to really maximize her ability to help. On a day where I had received some horrifying news and I truly feared the uncertainty of my future Sarah gave me an idea no one had thought of... Because she gave me that idea I found the solution to the problem. It truly felt the weight of the world was lifted off my shoulders. I had such relief because the situation would have been very different had I not called my insurance company and had that huge road block removed on my road to recovery.

Sarah deserves to be honored with the DAISY Award because of her exceptional nursing skills. She sets an example to her colleagues that is unparalleled. Sarah Willer is one of the most incredible nurses in the world. She is literally a life saver.
