Sarena Kleiboeker, RN

Sarena reviewed a patient's MRI and noticed an abnormal result. "Extremely severe spinal stenosis with cord edema" This result was not called to Sarena. Due to the uncertainty of the severity of this result, Sarena called Dr. "H." He was impressed with the vigilance Sarena showed. Without calling, Dr. "H" may not have seen the results until the next day, delaying her treatment. With this finding, the patient was urgently transferred to Carbondale Hospital for Neurosurgery. Sarena is a prime example of a model RN and showed so by saving a patient's ability to function/live.
