Sasha Smith, RN

Sasha is an RN case manager who routinely displays compassion and empathy above and beyond her job description. For example, she recently completed a discharge planning assessment for an elderly patient. During her assessment of the patient's home/living situation, she determined that the patient only had a working freezer and no refrigerator. Sasha knew that having a refrigerator was really a necessity so she called Rust Street ministries and found the patient a refrigerator! Sasha then worked/coordinated with facility safety to have the refrigerator picked up from Rust Street and delivered to the patient's home! This refrigerator will help ensure proper nutrition which is imperative to healing and recovery.
