Since starting our DAISY Program, Sashi has been nominated every quarter! She exemplifies our values of kindness, respect, integrity, collaboration, excellence, and stewardship! She has been nominated by both patients and her peers who have all referenced her positive attitude and relentless pursuit of learning and ensuring positive outcomes for patients. Her winning nomination was from a peer who shared a story of how Sashi is not only an amazing nurse but charge nurse and teacher as well. Sashi communicates openly and effectively and treats every patient on the unit as if they were her own. She embodies what it means to be a nurse and is constantly uplifting those around her!
