Dr. Yoon was our clinical instructor this semester for complex and she consistently demonstrated excitement, respect, compassion, and passion for her students and the staff. There was one day, we were unable to be on the unit due to poor staffing ratios and Dr. Yoon was able to adjust and turned our poor scenario into a very positive one! She was constantly encouraging us and providing us with feedback while we were on the new unit and working with the staff to assure that they were involved and satisfied as well (as she knew that a surprise visit from 9 nursing students to the unit could be overwhelming). She demonstrates this same behavior on our unit, but I thought her actions even when we were transferred to a new one were also incredibly heartwarming to see!
