My daughter brought her daughter into the ER because she was Jaundice. The staff in the ER was great. My granddaughter had to be admitted. She was only 4 days old. My daughter, a first-time mom, was very nervous and upset though she did not express it to the staff.
Nurse Savanah came into the room and I noticed my daughter seemed to calm as well as my granddaughter. The first day in the hospital was very upsetting for all of us. The staff again was very pleasant but Nurse Savanah stood out among them. The second day Nurse Savanah came into the room and her laughter and presence calmed the air. She gave us info without being prompted or asked. She held my little granddaughter and she was calm and happy, playful even. She put my daughter at ease. I could physically see my daughter's worry and pain leave her. Every time Nurse Savanah came in to talk with us she provided my daughter with peace and confidence thus having the same effect on me. Nurse Savanah turned a very tense and sad situation into an event that provided relief, hope, and happiness. Her compassion, bright smile, and honesty, and sincerity should be recognized. Sacred Heart truly has an angel within its midst.
Please express to Nurse Savanah our true gratitude for her compassion and very human, very real, very angelic-like style. Also to end on an even more positive note Baby is thriving and doing well. I believe nurse Savanah had something to do with that and for that my daughter and I are so very appreciative that we met her.
