I am so grateful for the comfort that Ms. Culp provided in my grandmother’s final days. She goes above and beyond for her patients and shows compassion that not many individuals have.
Savannah worked as my grandmother’s CNA for several of the days that my grandmother was hospitalized until her final days. There was a night when my loved one was miserable and so embarrassed, and Savannah took her by the hand, looked her in the eyes, and told her that it didn’t matter how long it took or how late she would have to stay that it was her job to make sure that my grandmother was taken care of. This moment moved me to tears. Those words were what we all needed to hear. In addition to comforting my grandmother, Savannah was quick to help and always checked in to see what she could do. There were many nights that she stayed late, and she never left without making sure we were all taken care of. She went above and beyond her duties. I am so grateful for the comfort that Ms. Culp provided in my grandmother’s final days. She goes above and beyond for her patients and shows compassion that not many individuals have. The last night that Savannah was to work with my grandmother before going back to school she left my grandmother the sweetest note, thanking her for allowing her to take care of her. Savannah Culp is pursuing a passion and career that was made for her. She cared for the patient and sympathized with the family for a hospital stay of over 30 days. I cannot think of another person that deserves this honor more.
