Savannah goes the extra mile for patients who are often having emergency procedures on weekends and are even more anxious. She calms them from the minute she picks them up from the ER with her cheerful and capable demeanor. She reassures families as she walks them back to the waiting room. She is the only PACU nurse I have ever seen in over 25 years who is interested enough to go to the OR and maintain that the continuity of care is there to transport them on the OR table and even help the circulating nurse during the case. In a time of people self-absorbed with their "screen time" even at work, Savannah engages those around her with true "Face Time".

Savannah is the hardest working, most helpful, most pleasant nurse I have encountered at CPRMC. She makes the weekend enjoyable and not just bearable. She is always pleasing no matter how many hours she has been at work over 3 days. She always has the patient ready in OR, always has my paperwork ready. I do not have to "reinvent the wheel" each case. Those are all things she does to make my life easier. On a more important note, Savannah provides excellent nursing care. She interacts well with nervous patients and families, putting them at ease, explaining what will happen and when. She is kind and attentive to all patients. She is never short or sharp with them. I am always comfortable leaving patients in her care. Basically, Savannah does everything possible for me and the patients with enthusiasm and joy.
