A patient came in for a port flush, forgot lidocaine, and was terrified of a needle in her chest. Eventually, we calmed her down and Savannah offered her hand to squeeze. I flushed her port without her even noticing. Excellent chair-side care. She advocates, not only for patients, but her peers as well. She is well-respected amongst coworkers in every department around our clinic. I am very proud to work alongside her every day.
