Savannah Montano 2, BSN, RN, MSN

My husband had just gotten out of surgery the night before Savannah came in for her shift. His IV had been left off all night and his pain was not under control. When Savannah came in that morning after, she made us feel safe and taken care of and immediately made sure his IV got put back on and also called the doctor to get additional pain medication for him. Savannah educated us on all the meds he was taking and the normal reactions to expect. Savannah ordered Physical Therapy at the request of my husband and always made sure to ask what else she can do to take care of him. I felt comfortable leaving my husband temporarily because I knew he was in good hands. My husband also just wants it to be known that he appreciated the way Savannah explained things and her compassion. Savannah stood out as a Nurse who loves her job and is passionate about what she does.
