August 2024 Honoree
Savannah Sullivan, ADN, CVRN-BC
My husband was in the swing bed unit, and the entire staff was outstanding, but I wanted to recognize Savannah specifically. My husband was a little scared/confused, but she always had a smile on her face every time she walked in the room and really took the time and patience to help him feel more comfortable. In addition, I had gotten some pretty scary news from the doctor regarding my husband's condition and was upset. Savannah saw ME (the family member), and even though I was trying to be strong, she recognized that I needed support. She asked if it was ok to give me a hug, and it was exactly what I needed at that moment. I had felt pretty alone, and to have her there to support me made such a difference.
Thank you, Savannah, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
