The husband saw how Sawsan took care of his wife from the time that she was in labor until the time that she delivered the baby. She made sure that all their needs were met.
Sawsan was nominated by the husband of a patient in Delivery Room. He said that when his wife was in labor, he was upset by the situation because he saw that there were students and interns coming in and out of his wife's room. Being an Arab, he didn’t like this. He informed nurse Sawsan not to allow anyone to enter his wife's room and she carefully and professionally told him that these people who are entering his wife's room also wanted to take care of his wife but because of his wishes not to allow anyone there, Sawsan said that she would make sure that will happen. The nominator said that Sawsan respected his wishes but stressed that he cannot stop her from entering the room since she needs to do her work as a nurse. He saw how Sawsan took care of his wife from the time that she was in labor until the time that she delivered the baby. She made sure that all their needs were met including the need of his wife for comfort when she was in pain and the husband cannot do anything but to look only at his wife. This time Sawsan filled the gap and did everything that she could to help his wife deliver safely and comfortably.
