I came to the hospital a nervous first time Mommy-to-Be who would soon be having a baby girl. I was first greeted by Scarlett and felt an instant connection. She instantly made me feel calm, relaxed, and excited to be giving birth. Before I knew it, Labor had begun and as the hours of Labor passed, Scarlett was the ultimate nurse; kind, very honest (which I appreciated), and a huge support. I was sad to see Scarlett leave when her shift ended; but thankfully, many hours later, she was back and helped me deliver my daughter. Scarlett is very worthy of this award. Without her I truly believe I wouldn't have made it through my Labor. She saved me from a C-Section and helped me deliver my 8 pound, 9 ounce baby girl.
