Schaunelle greeted me with a smile, which means a lot and goes a long way whenever you’re not feeling well. She was patient and understanding while listening to my issues. Very gentle and informative about how they were going to take care of me. I was there for maybe 2 hours, and she came in often to check on me and to let me know what was going on while waiting on the results of the x-ray and blood work. She showed concern that she loved her job and was there to help.

My 12-year-old granddaughter presented with stomach/abdominal pain, no appetite, and no stool for four days. Schaunelle was patient and reassuring with her. She praised her for her braveness and made sure she was comfortable at all times. She genuinely cared about how my granddaughter was processing each event necessary in her evaluation and testing. Thank you, Schaunelle. You put this grandmother at ease.

My husband’s nephrostomy tube sites were so painful we came to urgent care for help. Schaunelle went above in her efforts to not only give great nursing care to him, but she also gave him her complete and undivided attention. She showed compassion and extraordinary kindness during each encounter. We were in the Urgent Care unit for at least 5 hours. During this time, Schaunelle never once failed to smile and listen and also participate with love and compassion toward him. I might also like to add she also included looking after me as well. I was not the patient in Urgent Care but she chose to show me the same love and kindness for my welfare. Schaunelle is a DAISY Nurse, and I truly hope she knows what a difference she made in our care.
