During a couple of the toughest nights of my hospital stay both physically and mentally, Schylar knew exactly what to do to make me comfortable. I had an infection so I was constantly cold then hot, so she would come in almost every hour and change out the cold washcloth on my forehead for a new cold one.  She didn’t have to, the bucket of ice water was right by my bed with extra washcloths, but she knew it was hard for me to even reach over to get one. It might not seem like much, but it really did help so I could get as much sleep/rest as I could. Schylar always knew exactly what to say when I was feeling down especially since she knew my birthday was coming up and I would have to spend it on the hospital.  I was feeling not myself and quite sad I wasn’t going to experience a normal 21st birthday, but she got me smiling and laughing telling me about her 21st birthday experience. Schylar made me laugh and smile when not many others could and 100% cared for me as a whole person.
