Scott is a true advocate for his patients. We had a 5-year-old in our department whose parents were going to AMA because their insurance coverage had changed and they could not afford to pay for a critical care transport team. Scott reached out to our social worker and PCC to see what we could do, as this child was on continuous nebulizer treatments, IV fluids, etc. They were able to assist the family, and the patient was transported. Scott exemplifies compassionate nursing and is always willing to do the extra work to ensure his patients are receiving the best care possible.
