Scott was nominated by a fellow nurse for going above and beyond to make a patient's stay in our ICU memorable. Scott was assigned a patient in the ICU who was scheduled to be married on the day he was in the hospital. The patient was not able to be safely discharged from the hospital, so Scott arranged for the patient and his bride to be married in the hospital chapel instead. Scott far exceeded the patient's expectations to coordinate this special day, even arranging to have a wedding cake served to the patient and his new bride.
