Scott led her down the gentle path of end-of-life care (Hospice), where she wouldn’t have to endure her pain and have quality of life.
I was here with my sister who was in extreme pain following a chemo treatment for her terminal cancer.

Scott was the kindest, most caring nurse ever. He realized immediately that there was no medical cure for my sister and after asking her why she was here that day, he led her down the gentle path of end-of-life care (Hospice), where she wouldn’t have to endure her pain and have quality of life. He spent a lot of time with her and gave her so much comfort.

And then. . .after 2-1/2 hours of getting into a room, and seeing the Emergency Department doctor (who was also wonderful and agreed completely with everything Scott had said), Scott came back in to give my sister a hug, apologize for the pain she had been suffering, and wished her well. Needless to say, there wasn’t a dry eye in the room.

As a follow up. . .Hospice came to my sister's house the very next day, her pain meds were doing their thing and she was truly given back quality of life! We don’t know how much time she has, but she’s at peace, has no pain, and is so grateful for Scott.

Please share this with Scott and let him know how deeply touched our family was to have him in our life!
