I want to say thank you to Scott for his love and caring during the time my husband spent in the ICU and during his passing. Scott was so patient with my husband. I wish all patients could experience the love that Scott showed my husband.
Every evening Scott would come in my husband's room and squat down, putting his arms on the bed rails. They would talk and laugh about everything from hunting to families. Scott is just an all-around great man. He made my husband laugh every time he came into the room. They even had their own joke. Scott would come in and say "How are you doing Old Man!?" and my husband would reply "I was doing good until I saw you!" and they would both laugh. Scott was always there. Anything my husband needed he got from Scott.
Scott was there this morning when my husband passed away. Scott hugged me and held me. He kept telling me what a wonderful man my husband was. He let me stay with him as long as I wanted. I have never met such a patient and compassionate man. Please tell Scott he is so loved. I love him and want to say thank you, even though it's not enough.
