Scott was a Veteran's day RN all the days he was in the ICU including the day of his death. Scott consistently showed deep compassion and caring for this Veteran. He spoke to the Veteran constantly while in the room and performing needed duties. Scott is/was the consummate professional. His knowledge and expertise enfolded in compassion brought a level of peace and trust to a very challenging situation. I am forever grateful that the Veteran and I had such a fine individual cross our paths. It was as if a long-standing, lifelong friend had come to help and support us. Scott is one of the kindest people I have ever met. The respect and compassion shared not only with me but, with my mother and son were exceptional. We all briefly seemed to be in a loving family – taking care of the Veteran and each other. My gratitude is immeasurable.
